Description

The 1979-1983 Datsun 280ZX took the Z-car in a more luxurious grand-touring direction, introducing T-tops, a plush interior, and electronic instrumentation that included a dashboard-mounted sensor. This dash cover is specifically designed to accommodate the sensor opening, ensuring full compatibility with the 280ZX's unique electronics. The factory vinyl dash pad deteriorates from years of UV exposure through the large Z-car windshield, and this Dashtop cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to fit the S130 instrument panel.

Clean the dash, apply the included silicone adhesive, and position the overlay, aligning it with the sensor cutout. The cover bonds permanently, concealing cracks while preserving full sensor functionality. Made in the USA and backed by Dashtop's lifetime warranty, this is the correct dash cover for 280ZX models equipped with the factory dashboard sensor.
