Description
A Stereo System Above the Rest. The G-body Chevrolet El Camino blurs the line between car and truck, and the Highliner Audio Headliner gives its cab interior something truly special: a rigid, sag-proof ABS overhead panel with a fully integrated speaker system. Four 10-watt coaxial speakers mount into the Highliner's precision-molded speaker pods, delivering overhead audio quality that transforms the El Camino driving experience. Conceived almost forty years ago by an inventor who saw no reason a headliner couldn't double as a sound system, this remains the only product of its kind.
The complete kit includes the molded ABS headliner panel shaped specifically for the 1978-1987 El Camino cab, four speakers with foam baffles, a radio console cover, shock pads, insulation, an antenna extension cable, and all mounting hardware. Remove the original headliner material, mount the panel using factory points, and wire the speakers to your radio. The result is a clean, permanent overhead surface with sound that descends from above. Made in the USA and backed by Dashtop's lifetime warranty, the Highliner turns your El Camino's biggest interior weakness into its greatest feature.
