Description
The Toyota Hilux pickup earned a legendary reputation for indestructibility throughout the 1970s, and many of these rugged trucks are still in daily service or undergoing enthusiast-driven restorations today. The factory dashboard absorbs relentless UV radiation through the wide windshield, and after five decades the vinyl surface is deeply cracked on virtually every surviving example. This Dashtop dash cover is precision-formed from UV-stable ABS plastic to fit the 1972-1978 Toyota Pickup instrument panel, installing directly over the original dashboard.
Clean the existing dash, apply the included silicone adhesive, and position the overlay. The cover bonds permanently, concealing the damage while shielding the original pad from further sun deterioration.
