Description

The trunk lock rod cover on the 1970-1971 Plymouth Barracuda is a small but important trim piece that conceals the trunk latch mechanism along the inner trunk lid, providing a clean, finished appearance when the trunk is open. The original cover becomes brittle from temperature extremes and often cracks or breaks when the trunk is serviced. This replacement cover is molded from ABS plastic to fit the 1970-1971 E-body trunk lid profile, accurately reproducing the factory dimensions.

Mount the cover at the original trunk lid location to conceal the lock rod mechanism. The ABS material is far more durable than the original plastic, resisting the temperature cycling and incidental contact that causes factory pieces to fail. While it may seem like a small detail, a cracked or missing trunk lock rod cover detracts from an otherwise clean Barracuda trunk area. Manufactured in the USA and covered by Dashtop's lifetime warranty.
